We examine the renormalizability problem of spontaneously broken non-Abelian gauge theory on noncommutative spacetime. We show by an explicit analysis of the U(2) case that ultraviolet divergences can be removed at one loop level with the same limited number of renormalization constants as required on commutative spacetime. Based on the bound state description of muon and general relativistic covariant quantum field theory, we illustrate with a simple composite model that the observed deviation of (g − 2)μ can be a demonstration of the substructure of muon and give a constraint on the radius of muon in a light constituent model or the masses of constituents in a heavy constituent model.

We analyze the vacuum structure of spontaneously broken N = 2 supersymmetric gauge theory with the Fayet-Iliopoulos term. Our theory is based on the gauge group SU(2) × U(1) with Nf = 2 massless quark hypermultiplets having the same U(1) charges. We present an update of previous work on charged lepton flavor violation (LFV) in the seesaw model. The most recent neutrino data fits and post WMAP mSUGRA benchmark scenarios are used as input. In this framework we compare the sensitivity of rare radiative decays on the right-handed Ma-jorana mass scale M R with the reach in slepton-pair production at a future linear collider.
